"I can see your enthusiasm and passion to keep the traditions alive and think it is a wonderful way to celebrate…I played the video last night and watched it with my mum.  It was a great reminiscence experience for her and at the end she was up and away showing me some moves that she had seen danced as a child. "…Just to let you know I returned from Italy and I did try out your ideas on Italian Folk Dancing and it proved a great success [during our olive picking tour in Italy]. I did not have a chance to rehearse at all so it was very much a case of doing it on the night. We were lucky to have an accordion player and I brought some scarves with me. Although I could have organized it better, I think for the first attempt it was a lot of fun and all my relatives in the village said that we should have continued longer!! This will become a feature for next year's olive picking season and I plan to go to Italy next summer and organize a folk dancing evening as part of the local summer festival. I will of course need more information and dance ideas for that time."
