Italian Folk Dances are capturing the attention of today's top Italians and are creating a buzz in executive boardrooms!

The purpose and mission of the Italian Folk Dance Group (a non-profit organization) is to promote customs, folk dances and music of Southern Italy, and to foster pride in Italian heritage.

Programs are educational and fun and include singing, dancing, music, Italian trivia, simple Italian words, and audience sing-along numbers. For example, Italian Street Scenes are depicted during annual festivals and feature various folk dances such as the graceful waltz, foot-stomping mazurka, and the flirtatious Tarantella. Also included are the origin of the dances, explanations of the costumes, and other information of value and interest, depending on the time available and customer preferences.

Audience members participate by smiling, singing along, tapping toes, and dancing -- all the while learning more about Italian heritage.
